Independent Journalist Gracie Gato Launches Interactive Video Podcast on Substack, February 1

HUDSON, NH — Independent journalist and veteran radio broadcaster Gracie Gato announced today the launch of a new fully interactive video podcast on Substack, premiering February 1, 2026.

The podcast will feature live discussions, investigative commentary, and direct audience engagement, offering long-form journalism outside traditional party structures and media gatekeeping.

“This is journalism without permission slips,” Gato said. “No handlers, no party leash, and no silence.”

Gato says the project emerges after years of political retaliation and professional disruption aimed at discrediting and financially undermining her work. She has stated publicly that members of the New Hampshire Republican Party attempted to demonetize and discredit her through misinformation and intimidation tactics.

At the same time, Gato emphasizes that the podcast is not partisan advocacy.

“I left the Democratic Party in the last election cycle,” she said. “Not because I moved right, but because too many New Hampshire Democratic leaders have prioritized self-promotion and performative politics over representing moderates. Moderates make up a substantial portion of this state, and their exclusion has real consequences.”

The podcast will examine accountability across the political spectrum, with a focus on New Hampshire politics, media ethics, and the real-world impact of political power.

Gato will also address the collapse of financing for Corrupt As F, a planned 10-part documentary series whose funding dissolved after what she describes as intimidation and late-night subpoenas connected to political pressure. The circumstances surrounding the project’s derailment have not previously been made public.

A longtime radio broadcaster trained under industry veterans, Gato later spent two decades working in information technology before returning full-time to journalism and political reporting.

Due to ongoing custody constraints, Gato says she is unable to leave New Hampshire and is instead building an independent media platform within the state.

“Making a living through journalism here has become an act of resistance,” she said.

The podcast will be hosted on Substack and includes a $5/month paid subscription option, allowing listeners to support independent reporting, live interactive discussions, and sustained investigative work.
